The problem
A financial services company received hundreds of scanned documents every week — remittances, invoices, compliance letters, customer correspondence. Every single one was handled manually: opened, read, identified, renamed, and moved to the correct SharePoint folder. Then the JIRA ticket was updated by hand. 200 hours a month. The cost was invisible until it wasn’t.
What I built
A six-step AI pipeline that runs without human intervention: (1) Monitor JIRA queue for new document intake tickets. (2) Read each PDF — Claude API understands content, not just the filename. (3) Categorise by type, sender, and subject matter. (4) Rename with a consistent naming convention automatically. (5) Route to the correct SharePoint folder with no human decision. (6) Close the JIRA ticket with classification. Zero human touches after setup.
Claude API
Document reading, classification, and naming — content understanding, not pattern matching.
JIRA + SharePoint
Integrated directly into the client’s existing systems. No new tools, no retraining.
1 day to build
Designed, built, and deployed in a single day. $92,400 in annual savings on day two.
CISSP-scoped security
Data handling, access controls, and audit logging built to enterprise security standards from day one.
